August 20 (Wed) 7 – 9 PM — Wenatchee for Palestine is having a banner painting party in preparation for an upcoming action! Email us at wenatchee4palestine@riseup.net for the address.

August 29 (Fri) 5:30 – 7 PM — We’re participating in a regional action called for by the West Coast Boycott Chevron coalition! We’ll be traveling to Cle Elum and joining activists in dozens of other cities in Washington, Oregon, and California in a coordinated highway bannering calling for consumers to boycott all Chevron gas stations until the company cuts ties with Israel. If you’re interested in participating in this action, please email us at wenatchee4palestine@riseup.net!

August 31 (Sun) 1:30 PM — We’ll be screening the film 3000 Nights at the Wenatchee Public Library (Sagebrush room)! This film is a drama that was inspired by a true story and shot in a real prison. It’s about a Palestinian woman who ends up sentenced to 8 years in an Israeli women’s prison. The film screening is free, so come join us! We will be asking people to wear a mask as usual to keep the event accessible to our immunocompromised community members.
